Schedule: Summer 2025
Friday, 5-7pm and Saturday, 4-6pm

Each course runs as a series of eight sessions twice a week, thoughtfully designed to balance exploration, hands-on creativity, and meaningful reflection. Classes are 120 minutes long, with the first half dedicated to guided discovery and discussion, and the second half focused on imaginative, student-led projects. Whether your child is painting like Monet, charting constellations, or sketching ancient wonders, every session is built to inspire curiosity, confidence, and joy in the learning process.

Art

June: Think Like an Artist

In this series, children will step into the minds of history’s most innovative artists to explore how creativity shapes the way we see, feel, and understand the world. Over eight sessions, we’ll examine the bold brushstrokes of Van Gogh, the symbolic self-portraits of Frida Kahlo, the layered observations of Leonardo da Vinci, and more. Each session will uncover how each artist viewed their surroundings with curiosity, emotion, and imagination. Through hands-on projects, personal reflection, and playful experimentation, students will learn to observe more deeply, express more freely, and create with greater confidence. Rather than imitate the masters, students will learn to observe with intention and create with a voice that is entirely their own. Children will not learn the mechanics of traditional art techniques, such as shading and brush strokes. They will, however, learn to adopt the mindset of the artist to observe more deeply, think creatively, and express their ideas with confidence and originality. The universe

July: Wander the Cosmos

Join The Greenhouse for an eight-session adventure through the stars, planets, and mysteries of the cosmos. Wander the Universe invites children to step into the role of stargazers, scientists, and storytellers as we journey through the night sky, trace the paths of ancient astronomers, and imagine worlds beyond our own.

Each session offers a unique opportunity to explore space through hands-on experiments, thought-provoking discussions, and creative projects that bring the vast universe down to Earth. From understanding how gravity shapes galaxies to crafting stories about faraway planets, students will deepen their knowledge of the cosmos while expanding their sense of wonder. Designed to inspire both scientific thinking and imaginative exploration, Wander the Universe encourages children to ask big questions, follow their curiosity, and see the universe not just as something “out there,” but as a place of endless discovery and connection.

August: Curiosity Code

Curiosity Code is an eight-session journey into the art of wondering, designed to help children explore big questions, notice hidden patterns, and think beyond the obvious. Each class dives into a different facet of curiosity, from asking “what if” to exploring mysteries without clear answers, designed to encourage children to think creatively, stay open-minded, and grow more comfortable with uncertainty. Through stories, guided reflection, and imagination-fueled activities, students will learn that curiosity is both a feeling and a skill that can be practiced, refined, and used to explore the world with greater depth and joy.
